Sampler Owned by: Mary Peterson Made by: Mary Peterson Finished: 2006 Comments: This was a monthly quilt pattern at our local quilt club.  Each month we completed a block in the colors and fabrics of our choice.  I started out using scrap fabrics and soon started looking for a fabric in my stash to compliment and pull together what I had started.  The blue, purple and green floral just seemed to be the right piece.  I decided to do a border with appliqués using vines and flowers, which took longer to put together than all the blocks put together.  I was pleased with the end result and enjoyed the process.
