The Faribault County Humane Society (FCHS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization ran entirely by volunteers, and is located in Blue Earth, MN. FCHS is a no-kill shelter that also acts as the local animal impound. FCHS is aimed towards caring for and rehoming the lost, abandoned, & surrendered animals of our communities.

The mission of the Faribault County Historical Society is to collect, preserve and disseminate the history of Faribault County.Properties include – the James B. Wakefield House; Etta C. Ross Library Museum and Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal in the City of Blue Earth. Buildings located at the Faribault County Fairgrounds are the Woodland School, Krosch Log House, Guckeen Post Office, Antique Machinery Shed, blacksmith shop, West Delavan Lutheran Church and the Country Store.

Membership Dues – Annual $20.00, Lifetime $100.00.

BEAM is a mentor program that matched adults with children on a one-to-one basis in the Blue Earth Area. The children are ages 6 to 17 years old. Mentors meet with their “mentees” once a week for a least one year.
